Healthy Adult Program

'Routine screenings can help prevent serious health problems. Our free Healthy Adult Program screenings include:

  • Blood pressure
  • Blood sugar (glucose)
  • Total cholesterol
  • Total lipid profile (recommend fasting 9-12 hours prior)

Some patients discover through the health screenings that their blood pressure, blood sugar or cholesterol is high. The good news is that once you know you have a high reading, you can begin taking steps to improve your health. We can provide you with education materials and/or referrals you need to improve your well-being, so you can avoid more serious health problems. These services not only improve quality of life — they save lives."

Ohio University Community Health Programs will be at the Middleport Library to provide a Free Health Screening.

Screening: Fasting recommended but not required. Total lipid panel (cholesterol), blood pressure, and blood glucose (sugar) will checked.
Education provided based on results.

COVID vaccines are available as well.

The screening will take place inside the mobile clinic which will be parked across the street from the Middleport Library.

This is not conducted by the library and questions should be directed to Ohio University Community Health Programs.
